Job Summary
- Develop and revisit corporate sustainability & decarbonization strategies and execution framework/roadmap
- Set, monitor, review and report sustainability & decarbonization KPI and risk management
- Perform corporate sustainability materiality assessments and define key focus areas
- Align sustainability policy and execution with GC and PTT compliance/governance direction and country’s regulatory / global standard
- Support communication activities both internal and external on sustainability
- Organize and facilitate the sustainability-related meeting, Sustainable Development Committee (SDC)
Job Description
1. Develop and revisit corporate sustainability & decarbonization strategies and execution framework/roadmap
- Integrate external and internal factor analysis from relevant teams, such as performance, gap analysis, regulations, stakeholders, etc., and identify key strategic issues affecting GC sustainability & decarbonization strategies, target, roadmap and action plan
- Define strategic scenarios for sensitivity analysis / playbook development based on key risks and opportunities for sustainability & decarbonization strategy development
- Develop strategy and execution plan to get endorsement by relevance committee, such as Sustainable Development Committee (SDC), Management Committee (MC), Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee (CGS BOD), and Board of Director (BOD), etc.
2. Set, monitor, review and report sustainability & decarbonization KPI and risk management
- Identify lists of critical milestones and key risks from roadmap for KPI development and risk assessment, respectively
- Develop KPI dashboard and risk management matrix and indicators that support short-long term performance management
- Monitor, identify gaps and mitigations that ensure overall sustainability and decarbonization performance are aligned with the committed short-long target
- Perform lookback analysis on past performance to capture best practices and lesson learn and propose for improvement
- Report and communicate performance to relevant committees, such as SDC, MC, CGS BOD, BOD, etc.
3. Perform corporate sustainability materiality assessments and define key focus areas
- Revisit key sustainability material topics impacting GC from key stakeholders’ movement analysis
- Conduct stakeholder engagement to define and assess sustainability and financial impacts for double materiality assessment
- Linkage double materiality topics to develop key sustainability focus areas for strategy development and monitoring
- Conclude the double materiality assessment result to get endorsement by relevance committee, such as SDC, MC, CGS BOD, etc.

4. Align sustainability policy and execution with GC and PTT compliance/governance direction and country’s regulatory / global standard
- Conduct gap analysis of existing sustainability-related policies and execution comparing with GC and PTT compliance / governance direction and mandated regulations and/or standards
- Initiate gap improvement, such as new and/or enhanced processes, procedures, reporting, etc. to ensure compliance and governance alignment, and prepare execution guidelines and roadmap
- Engage relevant stakeholders / functions to deploy roadmap execution
5. Support communication activities both internal and external stakeholders on sustainability
- Coordinate w/ relevant functions to get support for progress / highlights of key sustainability performance indicators
- Develop communication materials of key sustainability strategic topics and progress to support internal and external communication
6. Organize sustainability-related meeting, Sustainable Development Committee (SDC)
- Plan overall SDC meeting schedule and agenda aligning with corporate agenda
- Recommend key contents and guidance of each agenda to align with corporate / sustainability directions and coordinate with relevant functions to prepare presentations
- Prepare minutes of meeting, summarize key comments, follow-up actions, and engage relevant functions to enhance execution

Job Qualification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineer or Science e.g. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemical, Environmental, Sustainability Management
- MBA background is preferable
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in strategy development / execution, business development, complex project management, sustainability-related and relevance areas.
