Job Summary

Job Description

• Provide advanced analytical science testing solutions to internal customers (e.g. Innovation, Plants, Technical service) and external customers (e.g. GC’s customers and Subsidiaries) via new methodology development and sophisticated analytical equipment.
• Involve in new resin development by advancing beyond GC's current technology, particularly in the area of polyolefin structure-performance relationships. Additionally, provide technical consultancy and share expertise with relevant internal stakeholders
• Adopt and adapt data science and digitalization to workplace
• Collaborate closely application developers, catalyst and polymerization developers, and teams specializing in polymer characterization to create polymer designs that meet desired application performance.
• Ensure the assigned team to promote Innovation, knowledge management and intellectual properties management that support relevant stakeholders for business growth
• Provide guidance, coaching and advisory to researchers/technicians in the team

Job Qualification

Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with years of work experience, or PhD

Field: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum, Petrochemical, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Biochemistry, Biomolecular Science or related subject

Experiences (in polyolefin structure performance relationship)

• BSc/ BEng with min 10 years of related work experience
  MSc / Meng with min 5 years of related work experience
  PhD with min 2 years of related work experience
