Job Summary

Major Responsibilities

1. Developing work scopes and conducting inspection activities on static mechanical equipment and piping in responsible areas. Coordinating with production and maintenance to ensure inspection works are carried out timely. Ensure the integrity of all static equipment to fit for the planned service and operating period which is complied with local and international standards as well as legal requirements. Recommending equipment and piping repair/replacement method. Maintaining pressure equipment Inspection Records and developing a history of plant conditions and maintenance.
2. To provide technical advice to other departments on pressure equipment concerning inspection, welding, corrosion, construction/repair methodology and NDT where appropriated and authorized to do so.
3. To assist in developing and contribute to inspection procedures and work instructions. To apply and comply with procedures and practices, in line with ISO9001/14001 and TIS 18001 principles.

Education

Bachelor in Engineering (or higher) in Mechanical, Metallurgy and Industrial

Experience

1-9 years in Inspection of static equipment and QA/QC in refinery and petrochemical industry
