Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic plans, policies, and procedures to drive corporate alignment and achieve business goals. This role ensures that all strategic initiatives and investment processes are effectively managed and optimized to support GGC's long-term success. The Division Manager will oversee the strategic planning and portfolio management functions, providing guidance and support to ensure that the company's strategic direction is implemented across all functions and subsidiaries, while optimizing investment returns and managing risks.
Job Description
- Develop and implement corporate policies, procedures, and standards for strategic planning, business planning, and portfolio management to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Oversee the execution of functional strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all corporate functions are moving in the same direction and adapting to emerging investment risks.
- Create and drive the Corporate Strategic Planning Process, including short, medium, and long-term plans, and ensure alignment with GGC's business requirements and context.
- Analyze internal and external factors impacting GGC's business, identify opportunities, and provide strategic information to top management.
- Communicate corporate direction, objectives, and strategies, including KPIs, through channels like MD Town Hall and Strategy Deployment, and support functions and subsidiaries in strategy implementation.
- Monitor and report on strategy implementation progress, evaluate strategic business information, and ensure efficient budget utilization.
- Advise and support cross-functional teams in executing strategic plans and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and standardize governance processes for investment decision-making, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategic growth.
- Analyze, propose, and manage investment processes, criteria, and assessments to ensure effective investment decisions and recommendations for management and the board of directors.
- Propose portfolio allocation strategies and optimization to achieve corporate targets and enhance corporate value.
- Oversee and govern the portfolio performance monitoring process, ensuring systematic advice on risks and values of subsidiaries.
- Manage the financial performance of GGC subsidiaries and monitor investment project progress to achieve medium- and long-term portfolio targets.
- Engage with government bodies, institutes, and potential partners to support business strategy development and execution.
- Foster internal and external collaboration to drive strategic initiatives and explore new opportunities for the company.
- Lead and develop the team for high performance and collaboration.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance,Engineer or a related field.
- Advanced certifications such as PMP, CFA, or a relevant strategic management certification are preferred.
Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experienced professionals with leadership abilities. Experience in overseeing departments, teams, or significant projects.
