Job Summary
- In liaison with manager, EO based commercial and senior managements to decide on sales and purchases strategy, pricing basis, term or spot sales.
- Execute and manage end-to-end sales and its services processes in compliance with GC business strategies and targets.
- Coordinate with related parties to ensure the customers receive the satisfied services and strengthen customer relationship.
- Providing day to day steer within commercial-operations team and providing market information to the supply chain management department to drive for optimal sales, planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate, monitor and analyze the performance of customers, pricing, volume, etc. versus contract, business plan and monthly plan.
Job Description
1. Monitor situation of EO Based Performance Business products’ industry and market situation i.e. supply and demand, trend, competitor, price and customer’s requirements etc. in order to develop marketing database, prepare market situation report to support further analysis in marketing and sales function.
2. Implement sales processes including negotiate with customer/ trader/distributor and prepare sales contract subject to review by Product Sales Manager and Legal.
3. Implement sales contract comply with sales processes of EO Based Performance Business Products i.e. demand forecasting (daily, monthly and quarterly basis), order placement, delivery plan, etc. liaise with customer / trader /distributor to ensure smooth sales operations complying with customer / trader / distributor’s requirements.
4. Coordinate with Production Planning, Sales Operation Support and Logistics Operation team to ensure product availability, readiness of sales document and delivery capability meeting with customer / trader /distributor’s requirements.
5. Update and maintain customer data i.e. account information, demand forecast, etc. in CRM and SCM system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and trading activities.
6. Be an important touch point to get voice of customer (feedback, enquiry or complaint from customer / trader / distributor) and liaise with related team to analyze, solve, and response to such voice of customer.
7. Conduct customer satisfaction survey to get feedback of products and services quality provided to customer / trader / distributor and analyze such feedback to address needs and values so as to meet expectation and improve satisfaction.
8. Develop and retain good relationship throughout value added chain. Provide assistance to the customers when they encounter problems related to the services and products in order to solve the problems in a timely and effective manner.
9. Prepare call reports, sales report and other related documentations in order to keep track of the sales transaction and performance and understand the changing of market situation.
10. Collaborate with sales team among other business units to provide services to common customers.
11. Support and coordinate with market development and strategy and business development to develop / improve products portfolios based on market needs.
12. Acknowledge, notice and ensure all related works comply with policy and regulation of Internal Compliance Program according to Chemical Weapon Convention for Triethanolamine product.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering / Science / Business Administration or related filed.
- 0-5 years of experiences in marketing, commercial, sales, trading or planning (petroleum products or petrochemical products or related business)
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Have a problem solving and analytical skill to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Experience in handle stress created by trading.
- Have knowledge of product pricing and trading is required, along with a strong commercial drive.
