Job Summary

Provide advice on, negotiation, analyze and process all complicated andgeneral taxation and legal matters and contracts under Corporate, Finance andTrade Law Division for PTTGC Group within and outside Thailand including relevant general tax planning by using the legal knowledge and legal experience toensure that the business will run in a lawful manner, minimize the medium andlow risk exposure and expenses and with the achievement of Good Governance andoptimal benefit to the company and its affiliates.

Job Description

1. Ensure that legal matters and business transactions of PTTGC Group shall be run in a lawful manner in order to ensure Good Governance, protect the legal interest of the group and minimize all high, medium and low legal risk exposure and expense.
2. Provide legal counsel and legal services to all units across PTTGC Group to ensure alignment with Governmental rules and regulations and facilitate the development of legal processes to achieve the most desired legal conditions.
3. Ensure that all important legal documents, those of Board’s resolution and any authorized documents of the group members, are accurately processed in compliance with legal regulations.
4. Eliminate and minimize all legal risk exposure that may occur in business transactions or in the contract in order to limit the company’s liabilities.
5. Ensure that all litigations and arbitrations of PTTGC Group are executed in lawful and most efficiently manner enhancing optimum benefit to the group.
6. Plan and execute legal documentation for all functions and business units in order to ensure optimum benefits and minimize company’s costs to the extent permitted by law.
7. Ensure that legal advisor outside jurisdiction provides the most complete and reliable opinion in order to limit PTTGC Group’s liabilities.
8. Forecast and oversee the legal issues from the existing and law to be enacted in order to diversify the opportunities in response to law revisions and/or management directives.
9. Seek the methodology and resolve the problems related to the contract.
10. Mentor and coaching Senior Lawyer and Lawyer execute the assigned work against the set standards and directions in compliance

Job Qualification

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to think strategically and spontaneously under pressure. Leveraging data-driven insights to identify challenges and implement innovative solutions.

Education

Bachelor degree or higher in Law.

Experience

Minimum Year - 5 years Experience in practice, especially in-house-legal. Experiences in corporate law, BOD paper preparation, financing agreement, product sale and purchase agreement and/or anti-dumping will be a plus.
