Job Summary

  • Partner and work closely with application platform leader, sales leader and other cross functional leaders to drive marketing strategic plan and execution
  • Formulate application platform strategy in the identified segments including transforming towards more market-backed approach, leading new product development strategy to serve company growth aspiration.
  • Collaborate and provide input to related stakeholders to formulate desired portfolio strategy and innovation roadmap, identify gaps and possible strategic actions to achieve the growth ambitions.
  • Champion competitive intelligence as part of the overriding product strategy, service strategy, solutions strategy and business model.

Job Description

  • Formulate marketing strategies and initiatives for designated platforms
  • Evaluate marketing performance by customer, channel, product and region to support the overall platforms’ portfolio
  • Analyze market situation and trends, supply balance, market risk, potential for new market development and new product application opportunities in specified industries
  • Analyze optimal channel mix for product distribution, and control channel management process
  • Optimize product mix to appropriate channel and highest netback market.
  • Collect marketing budget and ensure compliance with company policy, rules and regulations
  • Conduct market research and data analysis including segmentation, targeting, value chain analysis, competitor analysis, market and customer insights collection
  • Manage strategic marketing communication for assigned industry customers 
  • Liaise with DSB to ensure alignment on marketing direction
  • Liaise with sales to Conduct survey and obtain results on customer satisfaction and benchmark customer satisfaction with competitors in industry to develop improvement plan
  • Develop bespoke marketing plans, initiatives and execution in actionsaimed at new target markets and for new product launches by liaising with Strategy, market development, and sales Team
  • Provide inputs to product pricing function as and when required to enable them to recommend pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with application platform managers and key account managers to develop marketing strategies for application platforms and key accounts

Job Qualification

Education

  • Bachelor or Master DegreeMajor in Marketing, Petrochemical, Engineering, Economics, Polymer, Science, Business administration etc
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering,Chemical Technology, Industrial Engineering,business Administration or Economics.

Experience

  • 5 years plus background in marketing, business development, sales, technical service
  • At least 5 year working experience in related industry such as energy,chemical/plastics, FMCG, consumer goods
  • Experience in market research and analysis
  • Experiences with business strategy, business development and market assessment
