Job Description

• Decode conceptualized data management governance framework to establish standards and policies as well as define data management operation processes
• Guarantee that metadata is capture correctly
• Establish methods of monitoring and reporting for data incidents
• Develop and maintain common data dictionaries along with tools and approaches that facilitate data standards
• Perform operational/ tactical activities in managing change in data governance to ensure that stakeholders across the enterprise understand and adopt new governance body
• Ensure effectiveness in appointing data steward to communicate and drive data changes

• Lead in managing training workshop with the data stewards on the policy, standards, and processes
• Collaborate with data stewards on on-boarding data governance body to business units
• Maintain and perform audit activities for data governance body and processes through monitoring and reporting result of governance implementation to ensure data quality and security
• Provide technical advice related to cross-business units governance issues
• Escalate issues and feedbacks from cross-business units to highlight key concerns which will be taken into accounted in governance design
• Monitor internal team to ensure effective collaboration
• Provide behavioral advice and technical suggestions related data governance to sub-ordinate

Job Qualification

Minimum Year : 5 years of experience with data analysis and preparation, including significant experience in

dealing with very large data sets and unstructured data

Education

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics

Experience

• High level SQL skills and experience in working with Hadoop, Hive, Map Reduce, Teradata, QSTK, R, Python, C++ and Java
• Strong experience in database development & data model design
• Approximately 2 years of experience in ETL/ELT in Enterprise or Big Data Scale, Data Engineering or related field
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning and big data analytics.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and ability to thrive in demanding business settings involving many stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information in an easy to understand manner with clear recommendations based on data insights

Experience with digitalization of industrial processes preferred
